Summary
Carbondale Arts is pleased to announce our 5th Annual Artist Fellowship Program (AFP), consisting of four artist fellowship opportunities: Two grants of $1000 each for The Alleghany Meadows Fellowship and two grants of $1000 each for The Carbondale Arts Fellowship. The AFP is for artists and creatives of any genre, who need some funding to help them further their career, their art, or their ideas. The criteria is fairly open for these grants, and any artist residing within a ZIP code beginning with "816" may apply.
We believe that there is great value in fostering creativity and inspiration. These grants help further the mission of Carbondale Arts (building community through art), the mission of the Carbondale Creative District (nurturing a vibrant Carbondale community through creative industry, collaboration and artistic exploration) and honoring Alleghany Meadows who has contributed so much to furthering the arts in Carbondale. These grants are highly competitive; thorough, passionate and well thought-out responses are encouraged when filling out the application.

Carbondale Arts se complace en anunciar nuestro 5º Programa Anual de Becas para Artistas (PBA), que consiste en dos oportunidades: Dos becas de $1,000 cada una para The Alleghany Meadows Fellowship y dos becas de $1,000 cada una para The Carbondale Arts Fellowship. El PBA es para artistas y creadores de cualquier género que necesitan algunos fondos que les ayuden a continuar sus carreras, su arte, o sus ideas. Los criterios son bastante abiertos para estos fondos y, cualquier artista que viva en el área con código postal que empiece con “816” puede aplicar.

This is the application form for The Artist Fellowship Program (AFP) which consists of The Alleghany Meadows Fellowship and The Carbondale Arts Fellowship.
Please read the following instructions, requirements, and important dates when completing this application. Email questions to Carbondale Arts Creative Salesperson, Staci Dickerson at staci@carbondalearts.com. Any artist residing within a ZIP code beginning with "816" may apply.

The Alleghany Meadows Fellowship awards two scholarships of $1000 each and two scholarships of $1000 each for The Carbondale Arts Fellowship; four successful applicants will each receive one of the awards. This fellowship can help an artist develop a vision, buy supplies or rent rehearsal or studio space, it can help with residency or workshop fees or for marketing. The uses are limitless. These grants help further the mission of Carbondale Arts (building community through art), the mission of the Carbondale Creative District (nurturing a vibrant Carbondale community through creative industry, collaboration and artistic exploration) and honoring Alleghany Meadows who has contributed so much to furthering the arts in Carbondale.
