Beyond the Street Sew Class

Carbondale Arts will hold its annual fall youth fashion and sewing classes for ages 9 to 14 on Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30p.m., Oct. 16 - Dec. 4 on The Rosybelle Bus at The Launchpad (76 S. 4th St., Carbondale). Instructor Kendra Hegland will introduce students to beginning and intermediate techniques that will help students build the constructive skills they need to create wearable clothing and beyond!  Students can design and construct three to four different looks and push themselves creatively to delve into fabulous. Always wanted to be a superhero or build an animal mask? Now is your chance to think outside the box. All looks will be featured in the Cirque D’Sopris Show on Feb. 10 and 11.
